Description: Vintage Jomaz (Joseph Mazer) jeweled brooch, in the form of a flower basket, made of gold plated metal, set with 3 emerald cut faux gems, also set with many rhinestones, all stones are hand set, some stones are bezel set, other stones are prong set, marked on reverse “JOMAZ”, no copyright symbol after JOMAZ suggests the brooch is from the early 1950’s, measures approximately 1 7/8 inches x 1 3/4 inches, an area on the bottom of the basket has lost a bit of gold plating (see photo) otherwise excellent estate condition. NOTE: This brooch was donated to charity. The net proceeds of this sale go to A Better Community of Williamstown, MA, a program that funds projects serving at-risk families and youth in our area and/or addresses issues of hunger, poverty, and inequality in our community.
