This action-filled sculpture is recreating the first appearance of Supergirl from the classic cover of Action Comics #252. It is part of a limited edition of only 2000 made. The bottom of the box has a sticker that says this is 1570/2000. THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN USED, DISPLAYED OR TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX BEFORE TAKING PICTURES FOR THIS AUCTION. To take the pictures, I simply peeled back some of the foam packging to try and show the Supergirl and Superman, as well as the spacecraft she pops out of. BUT YOU WILL BE THE FIRST PERSON TO ACTUALLY TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BOX. Like many of the comic book collectibles I acquired over the years, I had no room to display them all. So I would usually buy them, open them quickly to inspect, and then store them in a closet for years. (That wasn't the intent, just how it happened.) ABOUT SHIPPING: The box for this is very big. So it will need to be shipped in a 24x18x12 box. Or you can pick it up locally in NJ. Here is a little about the sculpture from the enclosed Certificate of Authenticity: From the Silver Age of Comics (1950s - 1960s) comes a stunning re-creation of one of the era's most memorable covers.
