Royal manuscript document is hand-signed "v. Schramm" (active in the military in terms of content), and addressed to his brother. Dated Wroclaw, 2. Xber (December) 1840. Content: (sorry for bothering him "on such an unpleasant matter" without explaining it). The addendum is all the more interesting about the military and the Duke (Duke of Braunschweig). Initially about an acquaintance who was not promoted to general, then about the duke: "Here [...] people were flattered that the duke would come from Berlin - to Silesia and organize very large hunts, etc. and did not find it pleasant to see oneself deceived. Nobody thinks of war here anymore; God commanded. " Document is signed by Prussian major general Johann Ludwig Valentin Protzen, since 1811 Protzen von Schramm (* 3. August 1777 in Usedom; 25.
