Heat sources are viewable on 8 color palettes, allowing the user to optimize the unit for specific tasks or react to changing conditions. The White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot palettes are well suited for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes help increase chances for recognition and identification. The Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet palettes are most suitable for long observation in the night. The XG50s selection of palettes is perfectly matched by its selection of 10 reticles with options for direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular to allow the user to configure the optic to specific firearms, cartridges, or applications. Other features include built in video and audio recording with Wifi connectivity.
