Description: You are bidding on a 3 print set of Pennsylvania State University. These are part of a Commemorative Edition and each are labeled Set No 559 on the back. They are have 'First Edition' printed in the lower right corner. Each has the signature of 'Francis Chase.' In lower lefthand corner they say 'Copyright Childress Associates 1970.' These rare, unique PSU memorabilia is amazing for the collector, whether an alumni or a fan. - Old Main, "Proudly Stands Our Alma Mater, On Her Hilltop High," 24" x 18" portrait - Nittany Lion statue, "It's the Stately Nittany Lion, The Symbol of Our Best," 12" x 16" landscape- Mount Nittany, "Where the Vale of Old Mt. Nittany Meets The Eastern Sky," 12" x 16" landscape Francis Chase was a watercolor artist who lived from 1898-1982. He was a commercial and commissioned artist who generally painted in watercolors. These images have been stored in a mailing tube. There is slight damage to the sides from removing the images and they are rolled up (hence the heavy weights on the corners to photograph them for the auction). These are unframed works.
