Description: Prussian General - Documents w/reearch Grand Cross 1861 Doc & 1895. From what I can tell the 1861 document is a promotion? The 1895 is an award document- see photos- if you speak German it would be a help- these are pretty scarce rare documents and this General was a veteran of all the early German campaigns including Franco-Prussian war. He was a big deal in the Kaiser Reich as I have had letters from Ludendorff to him. The photo in this lot must be his son- which is a research project in and of itself- and may/probably have served the Great War and Third Reich?
