We have fitted a raised head screw so that it is easy to align the plug to the socket. Many users of the later Autocom leads have reported problems with crackling and complete failure of the lead - usually at the plug end. If you are a professional user (riding instructor, escort rider etc.) of an Autocom system, you may have needed to replace these on a regular basis.
