Description: Powell Sonare SF-705. Solid sterling silver body, with all pieces being stamped .925 and marked “made in Germany”. Headjoint is not stamped .925, but is silver as well. It is a hand cut Powell signature made in Boston. Features white gold springs, B foot joint, pointed key arms, offset G, and split E mechanism. This is a slightly older model of the 705, which later switched to the PF prefix. Hard case included. Please note to damage and peeling to the leather throughout. It will also come with a travel bag. Please take note, we are not musicians and do not know the playability of this instrument or the condition of the pads. It belonged to a professional musician and has been sitting unplayed for a couple years. We do not know any more of the history beyond that.
