Description: The Perfect Home Theater Decor! This is an original, theatrical one-sheet poster for Platoon and it measures 27 x 41. It has been float mounted, meaning that it's on a 1/8" piece of hardboard and there is a frame glued to the back so that when you hang this on the wall it has the appearance of "floating" in front of the wall surface. The edge of the hardboard is beveled and painted black (see close up pic) and there is a matte finish applied so there's no glare regardless of what angle you view the poster. Believe me, this is a beautiful piece for any home theater or media room. The float mounting alone is about $100 the last time I had it done.Condition - good. This is an original one sheet and was folded when issued to theaters, hence the creases you see. For me, this adds an element of authenticity, but to each their own. There was tape on the back corners prior to mounting and if you look very closely you can see a faint outline. However, once it's hung on the wall this poster looks amazing! I have tried to document everything in the pictures so there are no surprises when you receive your item.Shipping - this item will be delivered to you wrapped in foam, then wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and placed against a blank piece of hardboard, with all of this securely packed in a large, flat cardboard box. I have gone to great lengths to ensure that this item is securely packaged. I ship worldwide via eBay's International Shipping Program.
