The dark green leaves are very small, smooth and glossy with a narrow, blunted lance shape with lightly ruffled edges. The leaves grow in pairs from densely spaces nodes, forming a small compact, bush that matures at no more than about 2 feet tall. It is very well suited for potted culture. It requires the full spectrum of direct light and a warm, humid, tropical environment to thrive, so not recommended for indoor growing.
