The Espélugues farmhouse, which extends over the hill, was acquired by the missionaries responsible for the sanctuaries in 1869.The Stations of the Cross, featuring slightly larger-than-life figures (about 2 m tall), winds through trees and rocks for about 1,500 metres, climbing to the 13th station and then descending more quickly. It includes the traditional fourteen stations which evoke the passion of Christ, from his condemnation to his burial, plus a fifteenth station, the resurrection of Christ, added in 1958.The figures, 115 in number, are made of bronze and produced by Raffl.
