Philip Duane Jamison (1925 - 2021): Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jamison studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art. He was awarded membership in the National Academy of Design and the National Watercolor Society and was a contributor to American Artist magazine. From 1961 to 1963, he was an instructor of watercolor at the Philadelphia College of Art. Jamison's work has been widely exhibited in museums and galleries, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and are included in the permanent collections of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Delaware Art Museum, the National Air and Space Museum, etc. and in numerous private collections.
