PERTHSHIRE 1970 Dragonfly Millefior Ring Paperweight

Description: Offered for purchase: Early PERTHSHIRE domed paperweight with a green dragonfly with a ring of of complex millefiori canes surrounding the motif. A hand etched "P1970" is on the bottom. A small/medium size paperweight and absolutely elegant! Bottom signature: Yes, as noted above. Note on the pics: I have attempted to capture the essence and the semblance of what your eye may actually see. You can see a portion of the bottom etching in one of the pics (and, pretty amazing that the fibers of my burlap background show ~ have tried to get best pics I could! )Condition: appears as new with no notable wear, no cracks, no chips, no scratches. Please see pics as part of condition/description. [ Note: White areas or hazy glare in some pics is the lighting and please try to disregard; the color of this paperweight is vibrant and colorful and GORGOUSS.]Provenance: My parents collected paperweights in the late 60s and early 70s and the 80s. As a kid and young adult these were proudly displayed in their home. Many have now been passed down to myself and it is time to find them a new home where they are cared for and appreciated. Many were purchased at establishments such as Stix-Baer-Fuller (Memphis, TN), Brodnax (Memphis, TN), and Peacocks (Chicago, IL). All of these provided fine retail shopping and each with a long history.
