The rose is a noticeable floral accord but seats a few steps behind the oud, creating a soft aromatic touch that counterbalances the dark and bold oud. The incense and birch combine their notes into one that is smokey, strong, slightly green, and projection boosting, both deepen the dark character of the oud. As the fragrance commences to dry down, the benzoin becomes noticeable adding a warm, resinous, sweet accord. The saffron is also a noticeable note, bittersweet, leathery, earthy, and spicy. The Amberwood and geranium have modest contributions, they work as support background notes.
