The FM tuner is strong and it produces a fine musical tone at appropriate volume through both the left and right speakers. The "Tape" aux input also works but the "Phono" ceramic cartridge turntable input is untested or unknown. This unique 1970's stereo is in great overall condition, with a few nicks or dings mostly to the chrome trim. The dial glass is a little milky but it does illuminate, as does the red stereo indicator lamp. The face plate is in good condition with just a bit of staining or fading. Likewise with the two Panasonic satellite speakers - they are in very good physical condition. All the buttons and knobs are present and do push or twist freely. The unit is sold as photographed. The Panasonic RE-7430 was likely created to mimic the innovative designs from danish stereo manufacturer Bang & Olufsen's popular linear or "wedge" shaped stereo models.
