Description: Excellent antique pair candle sconces, unknown of their provenance but have been in my family for a while. Originally a restoration project but as shown in the pictures the sconces do need a fair amount of work but once refreshed they'll look beautiful displayed. Unsure of the metal but they are very brittle and bend easily. Both are painted black but underneath does show some gold. Half of the metal attachment seen in the last picture is missing but the other sconce hinge could possibly be removed to make match. Inside the candle holders do show a fair amount of residue such as blue tac (baffling to me as to why it's there but can be removed) As mentioned the sconces require attention and they are an antique so they will have age related issues.
