(The Original Broadway production opened March 26th, 1964 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City and ran for 1348 performances. The London production opened April 13th, 1966 and closed after only 112 performances when the producers learned that the star was pregnant.) ..... The musical starred BARBRA STREISAND (shown in the cover photo) as "Fanny Brice", the role she had originated on Broadway and featured MICHAEL CRAIG as "Nick Arnstein".
