The De Luxe Edition of 100 on Japon paper was more valuable as the printing was on a higher quality textured paper which gives the images warmer and enhanced colors. Very Rare. Les Maitres de L'Affiche ( Masters of the Poster) prints are a series of 256 color lithographs published in Paris during The Belle Epoque. This collection is one of the most prestigious and influential art publication in history. It was published by Chaix Imprimerie, Paris, when Jules Cheret was the artistic director. The prints were sold in a package of four and delivered to subscribers during the selling period of December 1895 through November of 1900. On 16 occasions the monthly wrapper also contains a bonus plate. Altogether, 97 artists were represented in Les Maitres de L'Affiche.
