Description: 1982 Actual Rare Original Film StripPROP From The Haunted MansionWalt Disney World From the Séance Room featuring:Madame Leota inside her Crystal Ball! There are Three shots (frames) of: Madame Leota (Disney Imagineer: Leota Thomas) speaking from within her crystal ball. She is in "color" from the Séance room and as you exit the ride she (Little Leota is in "black & white") and is telling you to "Hurry Baack". There are Three Frames from the Film Reel of Madame Leota. When the film broke, it would be replaced. I have heard talk that these are all digital pictures now (as of 1993), which makes this a great addition to any Haunted Mansion Buff´s collection. This film is 50+ years old! I received these films from a person who had worked in the Liberty Square area of the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. Each clip/strip is approximately 1" in length. I believe the clips show much better in person, the scanner has a difficult time with transparencies. Each scan utilized a different exposure setting.These reels of film were in junk cans located next to projectors located around the specific scenes and were being trashed because Disney only shows the best. I hope this explains more thorough. I once heard a couple of stories from an old Disney Manager that part of the original plans at the Mansion were that as you leaned backwards to descend to the graveyard that there was to have been a holographic type figure shoveling dirt as if to be burying the occupants of the Doom Buggy in the Cemetery Alive ! True. And that on opening day at the Tokyo, Japan Haunted Mansion the custodial crews were attempting to make the entire park spotless, well yes, they even vacuumed the spider webs out of the Mansion! True.As the ONLY Legible Book Title reads in the Library at the Mansion, The Art of Deception. Film Clip was carefully inserted into Ultra Pro Card Sleeve (Archival-grade, acid-free and non-PVC soft card sleeve) and then inserted into Ultra Pro Regular Toploader and then the Clips were scanned into my PC.The photos of Madame Leota inside her Crystal Ball and The Art of Deception Book are from the internet. The single face shot was from the same reel of film as in this auction, but it was scanned with a special transparency scanning device. The Madame Leota Merchandise Wagon has gone to the Magic Kingdom Graveyard. It may re-materialize outside the Gracey Manor if so commanded!The Madame Leota Towel was on sale at the Contempory Resort, I am unsure if they are still available (not included in this auction).The scan with the old Indian Head One Cent coin is for size reference only and not included in sale.
