The map is drawn on a scale of 1:750,000, and the image area measures 39 x 46.7 cm [15½" x 18½"], with generous margins on all sides. Details include cities, towns, railroads, postal roads, canals, and natural features, with topography drawn in relief. There is an inset of Porta Westfalica in the district of Minden-Lübbecke, in North Rhine-Westphalia, drawn on a scale of 1:250,000.
