Description: This original Schmidt Rubin model 1889 bolt assembly is in as-is, surplus condition. Appears to have some previously heavily cleaned areas. The bolt face has been altered, and as such is sold as is and for parts only. I believe that this can be used (with some modifications) in later models such as the 1889/11 or 1896, but the only rifle I can guarantee functionality in is the 1889.
