Often referred to as the coconut orchid, it will reward minimal care with a profusion of bright red 2 inch blooms in the spring and summer. A plant this size will add an amazing scent of coconut to your home or greenhouse. The tapering bulbs form on a creeping climbing rhizome. The are spaced about an inch apart on the rhizome, and each bulb will produce 1-3 new growths at its base in a season.
