Description: LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UV Nice fluorescent green Opal on this specimen of Albite Feldspar and Muscovite Mica along with Micro crystals of Garnet (pink) and well formed euhedral Schorl crystals. The Schorl crystals are micro and magnification is needed to see them along with the Garnet. The Opal is clear and nearly impossibly to see with a UV light. Very interesting rock specimen. From the Parker Mountain Mine, Strafford County, New Hampshire. 38 grams. 2-1/4" length. NOTE! I used a 5 watt short wave lamp for the SW images, and a Convoy S2 for the long wave shots, you will need the same or similar to see the fluorescence. I do combine shipping, so please request an invoice before paying.
