Description: This is a vintage lunch box made in the late 1940's. The top, and four sides, have tin litho images of the cartoon / comic strip character, Joe Palooka. The lid is marked: "JOE PALOOKA LUNCH KIT...Copyright 1948 by Ham Fisher." I would say this box is in GOOD condition, or about a 7 on a scale of 10. (Please read the description, see the photos, and decide the grade for yourself.) The box has some general wear & tear. There are scratches, paint rubs, oxidation spotting and soiling. There are a couple of marks that appear to be the remnants of scotch tape. It has a few spots of rust - not too bad. It still displays nicely, with wear from normal use.
