Description: for sale is a nice complete set of the Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co. Normandie doorknobs and back plates and mortise lock. Sorry I do not have any keys for the dead bolt. The knobs are marked Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co. New Britain Conn on the base rim of the knobs. (see pictures) The mortise lock is marked on the side and on the front of the dead bolt head. (see pictures 3,4 ) The back plates are not marked that I can see. I have seen examples with the same back plates on the internet. The set is a recent find. the set has been cleaned by the previous owner The previous owner has also coated the brass/bronze parts with either a lacquer or varnish. There is some minor corrosion on the knobs and the mortise lock. There is some paint residue in some areas of the knobs and back plate. and the mortise bronze plate. There is nothing broken or repaired. Please see all pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid. Buyer pays shipping with delivery confirmation usps ground advantage. thanks for looking.
