Checked in and removed from a working furnace. by an HVAC professional. Observed furnace starting, running, and shutting down properly in both cooling and heating. Control boards perform many functions. This is the most reliable way to confirm they work properly. Also inspected after removal to make sure there are no loose or broken parts or bad solder connections. It is then wrapped in static guard to protect it and ready for shipping. Please see photos. One of the three mounts (where machine screws secure the board to your furnace) is broken as you can see in the last 2 photos. There are three mounts on the control board, and with two still intact it can still be secured to your furnace.
