Description: This is a group of 7 of the 11 issues produced for the year 1962 of Nowi Dni (New Days, in English). It was a monthly newsletter magazine, typically 32 pages, which kept Ukrainian expats abreast of what was happening in their country while it was under Russian control. It was edited by frequent contributor Petro Wolyniak (and later, Marjan Horhota) from the safety of their new country of Canada. The magazine was a key pro-freedom instrument, pushing back against Soviet propaganda and distributed throughout the world to the community which wanted to see their homeland released from totalitarianism. It allowed for communication and coordination prior to the internet. Surviving copies are rare. The magazine is written in Ukrainian. Included are 7 issues: May, June, July/August, September, October, November, December. ................................Shipping combined for multiple purchases.
