Description: NOS Vintage Pittsburgh Permaflector Mercury Glass Reflector Lamp Shade 8 1/2" Vintage Industrial Lighting Shade or Globe Made by the Pittsburgh Reflector Company. Carries two original stickers (with wear to one). One sticker reads "Pittsburgh Reflector Company, Philadelphia. Peraflector, Flint Glass Workers Union Label." The second sticker near the fitter confirms that this globe was Union Made by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.Made of mercury glass with a reflective inner lining. The exterior is a nice silver color, with the interior having more of a gold tint, as shown in pictures.The shade is approx. 5.5" tall, has a diameter of approx 7" wide, and takes a 2" fitter. This lamp shade is in excellent condition. The Inner lining in a remarkable shape, with no notable scratches or chipping. The exterior is in similar shape, with some signs of use around the top rim and small chipping to the paint. The stickers are both still legible, though the Pittsburgh Reflector Company sticker has some wear. Overall in fantastic condition.
