Description: This April 23, 1761 2 Shilling note was printed by James Davis. Although higher denomination notes from this series such as the 20s & 30s are relatively common, lower denominations such as this 2 Shilling note were heavily circulated and are now incredibly scarce. This was the fifth lowest denomination of the series. Of the 5,000 originally printed, only 10 examples are known to exist. Fantastic value for the rarity.
