There is some crazing on some of the pieces. See pictures. Thanks. Enoch Wood(17591840) was an Englishpotterand businessman, from one of the major families inStaffordshire pottery. Starting as a modeller, he established a successful business inBurslemin theStaffordshire Potteries, from 1790-1818 trading asWood and Caldwell. In the 18th century they produced manyStaffordshire figures, which Wood modelled himself, and other types ofearthenwareandstoneware. After 1818 his company, nowEnoch Wood & Sons, produced large quantities of blue and white transfer-printed tableware in earthenware, much of which was exported to America.
