A unique aspherical extra-low dispersion element, in addition to three aspherical elements, is used to help reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions to achieve high image sharpness and clarity. Both Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings have also been applied to control flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color rendering in bright and backlit conditions. Rounded seven-blade diaphragm promotes a pleasing out of focus quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques. Exposed elements feature a fluorine coating that affords protection to the optical system against dust, grease, and water droplets. Dust- and moisture-resistant lens barrel benefits the lens' use in inclement conditions. I bought this lens brand new in 2019 at the full price, had no chance to use it until late 2021. In excellent condition, barely shows signs of wear. Since I bought the lens as a bundle with a camera body, I do not have a separate package box for the lens. I am throwing in a carrying case from my early purchase to protect this lens, which is much better than a paper box. This has been my only Z lens for a while, covering my majority focal length needs. Great for both still photos and videos, I used it for everything -- travel, indoor parties, events, documentary, talking head, etc.. So sorry to part with this beautiful lens, I am sure you will also fall in love with it immediately.
