Description: Rare 1914-S Lincoln Wheat Cent VG+ Nicely Toned For Your American Coin Collection-LNC001 Details Description: Very desirable, low mintage (4.1 million) and very good or better bronze Lincoln small cent or penny with wheat ears on the obverse. The coin itself is much better than the scan shows and has all of the details evident. The date is very readable as well as the mint mark S. You can still see some of the details in Lincoln's hair. The details of the wheat sheaf on the obverse are evident but have considerable wear. As you can see from the photo, the details on the reverse are all there with wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. The coin is nicely toned, has nice eye appeal and is beautiful. These coins were designed by Victor D. Brenner. Early US coins such as this are gradually getting more and more difficult to find. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
