Product Description: This offering is for a new-old-stock Cinelli Alter road stem in a size 130 mm. The finish on the stem body is primarily a flat black with a silver detachable clamp. Contrasting this two-tone color scheme is silver labeling on the stem body and black labeling on the face of the detachable clamp. Additionally, this stem will mount on a threadless steerer tube and achieve an 80 degree stem angle (or said another way...a -10 degree rise). Please also note, these stems are extremely rare and while we only have a handful (or less) in any one particular finish/size, we were still able to acquire a decent selection (but as I alluded to above, the availability in any one particular finish/size is fairly limited...so the selection may narrow a little sooner then we would like). These Italian made stems are excellent quality and are CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machined from heat treated aluminum alloy...AL 6082 T6 to be more specific. The result is probably one of the strongest/stiffest threadless stems in it's category...and a "look" that is out-of-this-world different from anything we have come across in the market. If there is a drawback, it's their weight, as they are a little on the heavy side relative to today's standards (with this 130 mm model weighing-in at about 295 grams with a steerer dust cover). With respect to compatibility, the diameter of the steerer clamp is the relatively common 25.4 mm, which will fit any 1" threadless steerer tube, and the handlebar clamp size is 26.0 mm (also a relatively common size that should be compatible with a number of road handlebars). We should also mention the handlebar clamp includes all stainless steel hardware and the three-bolt design is very strong, while still retaining the conveniences of a completely detachable face plate for easy handlebar swaps. The steerer clamp also boasts of stainless steel hardware and an extremelly clean/strong design...with recessed mounting points that are literally built into the design of the stem body. As for condition, this is a retail boxed offering that shows no signs of use. The two-tone finish still shows fairly well, but we are still noting some shopwear on these stems...probably from years of storage. Lastly (and just as pictured), an alloy steerer dust cover is included with this offering. Listing Update, as noted in the listing title, this is my last one in this model/size/finish (and the pictures have been updated to reflect this last offering). Unfortunately, there is some visible shopwear on this last offering in the form of a decent sized scratch towards the back-end of the stem on the left side. This scratch is best viewed in the 4th and last pictures in the sequence to the left. If it was not for this noted scratch, this last stem would show as well as all the others that have sold before it (in this model/size/finish). Although, since I do not have any others left to offer in this model/size/finish, I have to sell this one with the more visible cosmetic blemish.
