This handmade Hawaiian heritage quilt is a beautiful addition to any home. The quilt features is the Honu which in Hawaiian is the turtle, in a wonderful pattern with dominant white color and brown. Measuring 80" x 80", it is the perfect size for a bedspread or wall hanging. The technique used was passed down in the family and adds to the unique charm of the quilt. It's a special piece that was crafted with love and care. The quilt is a combination of 65% polyester and 35% Cotten. It has been already washed to make up for shrinking. It can be hand washed or if used in a washer, the most gentlest of settings is important since being hand stitched could make it fragile if strings are pulled or broken. There are thousands of stitches used to creat this piece and done with the same same sense of love and respect that goes in every one. The quilt is created using traditional world famous Hawaiian quilting stitch/appliqué method.
