Description: Description Gibson / Everly Brothers J-180 Ebony ≪S/N:21624200≫ Gibson Custom releases Everly Brothers model The long-awaited artist model is back The original Everly Brothers J-180 was produced between 1962 and 1972, and has since been reissued several times. It has not been produced in recent years, and past reissue models are rarely available on the second-hand market, so prices are rising year by year. This time, the long-awaited Everly Brothers J-180 Ebony will be added to the lineup of the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop Artist Collection. We hope that fans will get their hands on this guitar, relive their wonderful music and beautiful harmonies, and celebrate the great influence they had on the music scene that followed. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Phil and Don Everly, known as the Everly Brothers, were among the world's most popular artists during the early days of rock music in the 1950s and early 1960s. Their smooth, vocal harmonies were backed by driving rhythm parts from their matching Gibson acoustic guitars. Gibson is celebrating their musical legacy with the addition of the Everly Brothers J-180 to its Custom Shop Artist Model lineup. With a maple body and Sitka spruce top, the Everly Brothers J-180 features the decorative details that characterize classic Gibson Everly Brothers models. It boasts a full range of specifications, including an ebony gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a double tortoise mastersh pickguard designed in collaboration with Everly Brothers, and mother-of-pearl star inlays on the headstock and neck. The Everly Brothers J-180 also features a bone nut and saddle, TUSQ bridge pins, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with keystone buttons. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp, it's ready for stage or studio. Comes with a hardshell case.
