Supercapacitors store and release energy based on electromechanical properties rather than a chemical reaction like in rechargeable batteries. This makes supercapacitor performance much more reliable in cold temperatures. For the same reason, the energy stored in a supercapacitor releases faster when activated for deployment. The new E2 system is 40 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the existing Alpride E1 system, with a 162-liter airbag.The Float™ E2-25 Turbo is our dedicated sled-specific E2 25L bag for mountain snowmobiling. Featuring 25 liter volume with multiple options for external shovel carry, as well as an insulated internal electronics pocket. Includes all our standard Float™ E2 features: waterproof coated nylon, Side Stash pocket, Back Stash zip, internal shovel/ probe carry system, curved side access zip, hip belt pocket, and "cooling fin" backpanel ventilation.AA BATTERIES FOR ADDITIONAL DEPLOYMENTSIn addition to the supercapacitor storage, you can install two AA batteries to allow for additional deployments in the field.
