The very skilled craftsmen faithfully reproduced the finest examples of period 18th and early 19th century American furniture designed for their wealthy clients. Commissions from state and federal authorities ensued, including from the residence of The President of USA. Many of their pieces are still on display in The White House, Washington, D.C. The firm was in operation during the early and mid 20th century. This particular stamp was used from about 1941 until the store closing in 1973All original Measurements: Approx. 22" x 22" the top; 27" high when opened, and 40" high when closedWeighs about 9 lbs. 10 oz.
