CONDITION NOTES – PLEASE READ! Unless clearly stated otherwise, all comics that we offer for sale are new and unread, and were bagged and boarded immediately on receipt. We understand that collectors have high standards for the condition of their comics; but unfortunately not all modern comics are produced to the highest quality: weak paper stock, printing issues, casual handling during shipping to the distributor, etc. can all contribute to minor flaws that would preclude a given copy from grading at 9.6 or 9.8 (or above!) All the comics that we receive from the distributor are hand checked, and we weed out any displaying clear damage that, in our opinion, would position them at grades of less than 9.4. From time to time, we may offer these copies for sale – but in that case they will clearly be marked as “damaged stock” in the listing, and will be priced accordingly. For all our regular listings, we can only guarantee that you will receive copies in 9.4 grade, or above. In other words, they will be at least Near Mint (NM). If you have received a copy that you don’t feel is at least 9.4 in grade then – firstly – please accept our apologies. We do try to make sure that everyone is happy with their order, but when you’re trying to grade a large number of books, it can get quite tiring on the eyes, and sometimes things just get missed. Let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it right – with a replacement copy if we’ve got one, or a refund if not.
