Murano Italian Art Glass Millefiori Vase, Signed Amedeo Rossetto

Description: Master Amedeo Rossetto comes from a family of glass blowers, learning the art of murrine production, the most traditional glass of Murano, from his father. A fine example of his work, this vase is an explosion of color that beautifully displays what gives millefiori its "thousand flowers" name. A cobalt blue rim, foot, and two handles, all coated in gold, give this glass vase its finishing touch. The vase measures approximately 7 1/2 inches handle to handle and 10 3/4 inches tall, with original VR (Vecchia Murano?) sticker on the top rim and Amedeo Rossetto signature on the bottom.
