The ballpoint is in a excellent++ condition. The production time of this model was very short. Montblanc produced this ballpoint between 1960 and 1961. Thats real a short production time. Montblanc was one of the last companies who offered a ballpoint. They started entering the market with the Swedish company ballograf as partner. These company produced refills that were differend from the normal standardized refills in Germany. These refills wrote three times longer than the normal German standard refill. These refills were used from Montblanc until the day came, that they came on the marked with their own refills. The refills that Montblanc produced were a bit bigger and do not fit into the old ballpoint models. Also the new Montblanc refills do not fit into that pen. But the factory Schneider in Germany still produces refills that fit into these old Montblanc ballpoints. I think a lot of collectors know this problem, perhaps you will have the solution for the problem now. So this pen will not only be a collectors pen. You also can use it as a daily writing instrument. I of course will send a new refill with the ballpoint, so the pen will come in perfect writing condition. The special lever system in the clip works and the pen only has some very less signs of use. Its more rare than the other ballpoint models, because of its short production time.
