Description: Model M1902 US Army Officers’ Sword w/Scabbard US Ambassador Gift This sword was a gift to Paul H. Robinson Jr., US Ambassador to Canada. Robinson was appointed by Ronald Reagan in 1981 and served as Ambassador through 1985. The sword is a Colonial Trademark M1902 by N.S. Meyer Inc., New York and is marked Stainless Spain. The blade etching is beautiful. The scabbard shows some wear due to age and handling. The blade is very nice, showing just a light bit of handling wear at the makers marks. Scabbard engraved: ‘To Paul H. Robinson, Jr., United States Ambassador to Canada, With Respect, Admiration and Thanks.
