Description: Mint Japan Noritake Morimura Bros. Nippon Hand Painted Floral Enamel Double Handled Shelf Mantle Porcelain Vase Early 20th Century outstanding and a wonderfully well modeled article of porcelain artistry of Asian cultural art. Distinctive form with low shouldered bulbous like body graced with a pretty floral hand painted motif and accented with enamel decorated accents The double handles are pristine perfect with no cracks Crisp white glossy interior masterfully mounted atop 4 strategically placed feet around all intact. "M" standing for "Morimura" in a wreath, crowned by "Hand painted" and below, NIPPON. Date: Introduced in 1911 and possible in use until 1921. The first reported U.S. registry for a Noritake back stamp for importing is 1911. Noritake first produced dinnerware for the American market in 1914. It bears a back stamp of Noritake, shows the letter "M" in a wreath and the words "Hand painted"...Based on these markings, this appears to be a very early 20th Century Noritake Morimura Brothers piece documented between 1911 to 1921. This Pristine stunning Noritake Morimura Brothers Hand-Painted treasure measures 5 1/2" tall and 5" wide. This MINT treasure shows absolutely no wear, with the exception of some scuffs on the feet from being displayed.
