Description: Merlin Oldham Studio Pottery Vase New Salem Stoneware 9.5" Pennsylvania READ ALL This gorgeous handmade studio pottery vase or jug is the creation of Merlin Oldham of New Salem Stoneware in Leeper, Pennsylvania. It features a tall statuesque turned ceramic form with horizontal ribs / banding / rings with a speckled stoneware gloss glaze in tones of brown & green with accents of dark red and blackish dark blue. Will blend perfectly in collections containing Mid-Atlantic, Northeastern, Appalachian, and Great Lakes style ceramics and pottery and with styles such as Arts & Crafts, Craftsmen, Mission, Rustic, Primitive, Country, & eclectic. It does have wear & studio original blemishes including a large air pocket "blow out" on the top of the mouth rim, small air pocket blow outs all over the form (which is quite often the case in stoneware), scuffing, dings, and fine abrasions so please read complete details below and review photos closely for condition.
