Hardcover book in Very Good condition, tight and clean with no marks except signature of two owners on front end-page; one owner, Charles D. Hine, was a 1891 West Point graduate who resigned in 1895, but in the National Guard served in both Spanish-American War and WWI, retiring as a Colonel. Pages are clean and white with slight darkening near edges; hinges and covers tight. Black covers with gilt titles on the spine and front are bright and clean; minimal wear. No dust jacket.
