Description: I know it’s hard to sell cancelled Meissen pieces, but take a look. The authentic Meissen crossed swords mark has four strikes through it, indicating that it was imperfect and the Meissen factory sold it to an outside decorator for decoration. There is a very faint hairline in the rim next to the pink flower sprig--very hard to see in the photo, so that was probably the reason. It doesn't show on the back. The new owner in this case painted small sprigs of colorful flowers on the front of this large plate or charger. It is 10 3/4 inches across. Ref C371.Thanks!
