Description: This is a set of rather hard-to-find nine issues of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) tie-in/adaptation comics: Iron Man 2 (issues 1 [2 copies] and 2), Thor (issues 1 and 2), Captain America: The First Avenger (issues 1 and 2), and The Avengers (issues 1 and 2). These comics were published between 2012 and 2014, the years after The Avenger film was released in theaters. These four series basically served as "prelude" refresher adaptations for the MCU films released during that period: Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and The Avengers: Age of Ultron. These four series do more than just adapt the earlier films' stories: many of them fill in blanks between what we saw in the movies or any other media. All nine of these were purchased by me from my local comic shop, read only once or twice, and then bagged and boarded. As far as my untrained eye can tell, they are all in VF or VF/NM condition. . I am happy to offer more specific detail on particular issues, so feel free to contact me. The picture included is of the actual issues that you would be bidding on. All nine issues will come in the bags and boards that you see in the picture, and I will be sure to package them in a protective enveleope with some cardboard around them to prevent any damage en route. Tracking down and buying these nine issues individually would probably run you at least $25. This is a great, affordable way to get a nice chunk of these MCU tie-in comics that were published back when the MCU was just starting to become a massive presence in the pop culture landscape.
