Description: This Metlox Poppytrail Navajo Pattern Tempo Shape Round Covered Casserole Bowl or Dish is a great addition to any Mid-Century Modern decor. Made of ceramic material, this vintage dish features a tan and turquoise geometric design at the lid rim. It is 9" across at the rim and 4" tall to the rim. The dish was manufactured in the United States in the 1950s and is a part of the Navajo product line in the Tempo shape. The condition is very good with the exception of one chip at the base as shown. There are utensil wear marks on the inside of the casserole. I am listing additional pieces of this mid-century modern earthenware vintage china from California. There is no backstamp mark on this piece.
