Description: Vintage Erphila cat teapot The cat teapot was made by Cortendorf, a West Germany company, in the 1940s to 1950s. The handle is the cat's tail and the front paws come together to form the spout. The cat is glossy black and off-white (cream). It has a pink bow around its neck and bright green eyes. The teapot is stamped "Germany" on the bottom. It is imprinted 6700A. It is 9" tall, 5" wide, and 9" deep (from front of the spout to back of the handle). The teapot is in pre-owned condition consistent with age. The color are bright. There is all-over crazing. There is a hairline crack on the back of the pink collar that is approximately 3/8" long. There is a flea bite on the inside rim of the opening of the pot. Please see photos.
