The soup bowl is part of a much larger set currently up for sale, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The bowl measures 7.5” in diameter and has a white/ivory base with a yellow scroll/floral band/pattern, in addition to a gold rim and verge. The bowl has been discontinued and a date of manufacture is unknown. The bowl is marked “Mayflower Japan.” Condition: Overall, the soup bowl is in good condition for its age but looks to have been lightly used due to some light utensil scratches/wear present on the bowl. The bowl was acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (such as chips or cracks) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The bowl may show extremely light utensil scratches or other signs of holiday use or light marks/discoloration from cleaning or storage. The bowl may also show minor imperfections (primarily light wear) to the gold rim as highlighted in the photos; however, I do not feel that the condition of the bowl has been compromised.
