There is a 5-digit serial number on the white sticker, and the first number is probably 8, so we can guess that it is probably a 1978 product.Like the early MXR Dyna Comp, this MAXON Compandor uses an RCA CA3080 as an operational amplifier. Therefore, you can get a fairly strong compressor effect.We have confirmed the sound output with both Power supply and 9 volt battery. It works fine.
